At Al Rabeeh School
A
t Al Rabeeh School, Abu Dhabi, the pastoral care and wellbeing of our students are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that happy,
safe and supported students are best placed to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Our holistic approach to student wellbeing ensures that every child feels valued, respected and listened to within a nurturing school environment.
Our dedicated Student Wellbeing Team is made up of a number of highly experienced staff who work collaboratively to support students and families. This team includes the Assistant Head for Pastoral and Wellbeing, a Guidance Counsellor, School Counsellor, Social Worker and Student Liaison Officers. Together, they provide proactive and responsive care, ensuring students receive the right support at the right time.
The wellbeing team organises a wide range of initiatives throughout the year to promote positive mental health and emotional resilience. These include parent coffee mornings, awareness events such as Mental Health Day and Pink Day, and meaningful charity activities that encourage empathy and social responsibility. Central to our pastoral provision is the embedding of Islamic values such as kindness, gratitude, respect and compassion, which underpin daily life at Al Rabeeh School.
We operate a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of bullying, including cyberbullying. Through close collaboration with teachers, parents and the wider school community, we actively promote a culture of safety, inclusion and mutual respect. By working together, we ensure that every student at Al Rabeeh School feels supported, confident and ready to succeed.
